Dana White Takes Aim At Jason Aldean

Last week, 59 people were murdered by a lone gunman at a country music festival headlined by Jason Aldean and another 500-plus people suffered injuries due to the gunman’s actions.

A few days later at UFC 216, musician Everlast sang "America The Beautiful" inside the Octagon as the promotion honored first responders and the victims of the shooting.

UFC President Dana White said Aldean was offered the same opportunity that went to Everlast, but the country music star turned it down to appear on Saturday Night Live.

"His image was more important then coming back to Vegas and playing for the people who are his fans and who got shot watching him play," White said to TMZ. “F—- you Jason Aldean. Stay out of Vegas.”

It should be noted that Aldean did return to Las Vegas the following day and has been helping the community since this violent act happened.

White is also ticked off because he feels that Aldean and other country music stars should be playing for those who were there for the country music festival.

“Country music was attacked. Those were country music fans,” White continued. “Those are people who buy your albums and none of you country music people could sing the anthem in front of survivors and 1st responders?”

Neither Aldean or any of the other artists who appeared at the country music festival have responded to the comments made by White.
