Dana White Shoots Down Report Of Ronda Rousey Making Return At UFC 300

Dana White denies report of Ronda Rousey returning to UFC.

On August 27, The Daily Mail reported, “one of the Ronda Rousey’s confidants said, ‘She just had a match at SummerSlam and is looking to wind down her time and commitments with the WWE and she is now focusing on potentially making a run to have one last fight in the UFC and compete at UFC 300 when that presents itself sometime next year.'”

Speaking to Aaron Bronsteter of TSN Sports, Dana White shot down Daily Mail’s report.

“Stop reading the Daily Mail, everything that they write is a crock of sh*t Ronda’s having kids! Ronda built this whole thing that’s going on with the women here, then her dream was to go to the WWE, she went there and did everything that she did there and achieved, she’s made sh*tloads of money. She’s moved on with her life,” he said.

Rousey hasn’t fought inside the Octagon since December 2016 when she lost to Amanda Nunes. Rousey joined WWE in 2017, having a successful run that included winning the Raw and SmackDown Women’s Titles, the WWE Tag Team Titles, the women’s Royal Rumble, and main eventing WrestleMania 35 with Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair.

Rousey lost to Shayna Baszler at WWE SummerSlam and said after the bout that she had no reason to stay to wrestling.

Rousey’s second book is set to be released in April 2024. More information is available here.
