Dana White Reveals The UFC Are Working On A Potential Fight Between Jon Jones And Stipe Miocic | Social Media Roundup
The UFC president Dana White appeared on The Pat McAfee Show yesterday and revealed that the UFC are targeting to make a fight between Jon Jones and Stipe Miocic — we’ll cover this and much more in Wednesday’s social media roundup.
Dana White confirms the UFC are trying to make Jon Jones vs Stipe Miocic
The one heavyweight bout which has been spoken about for years now but is still yet to happen is Jon Jones vs Stipe Miocic.
It has been almost two and a half years since Jon Jones step foot in the Octagon. Since then a lot of things have happened including Jones relinquishing the light heavyweight title and announcing that he would finally be moving up to heavyweight.
However, over two years on from his last UFC fight, we are yet to see Jones make his heavyweight debut despite there being constant talk and rumors around him potentially fighting one of either Stipe Miocic or Francis Ngannou.
With Ngannou still recovering from knee surgery and being involved in a contract dispute with the UFC, this would be the perfect time to make Jones vs Miocic as it would be one of the biggest fights in the UFC heavyweight division’s history.
It seems like Dana White and the UFC have also realised this as yesterday when he appeared on The Pat McAfee show, Dana White confirmed that the UFC are actively working on getting Jones vs Miocic official and confirmed for later this year.
Dana White tells @PatMcAfeeShow they are working on Jones/Miocic. Says a fight like that would happen in Vegas or MSG.

White also mentioned that if the fight is successfully made it would have to happen in either Vegas or Madison Square Garden in New York.
If the fight does get made, who do you think will win, Jones or Miocic?
