Dana White Open To Giving Conor McGregor A Title Shot In His Return Fight | Social Media Roundup
The UFC president Dana White has once again shown his love for Conor McGregor by revealing that he would be open to giving him a title shot in his UFC return — this and much more on Tuesday’s social media roundup.
Dana White not against giving Conor McGregor a title shot on his UFC return
In Conor McGregor’s last UFC bout, he suffered a bad leg break at the end of the first round.
McGregor is still recovering from the injury and the surgery which he had to have and is now targeting a summer return to the Octagon.
The logical thing for McGregor to do on his return would be to start from the ground up and get some warm up fights in before going in there with the top level fighters again, however, McGregor, as always wants only the best.
Recently on social media and in interviews, McGregor expressed his desire at wanting to fight the current UFC lightweight champion Charles Oliveira. Despite the Irishman typically getting whatever he wants in the promotion, this fight makes 0 sense as McGregor has one win at lightweight in the last six years.
The UFC president Dana White has seemingly welcomed McGregor’s proposal to want to fight Oliveira and he did not shut down the idea of the fight when asked in an interview.

According to White, it will all depend on who the champion of the division is when McGregor is set to return which will decide whether or not he can get a title fight.
This is further proof that in the UFC money matters and despite having just 2 wins in the last six years, McGregor can still find himself in title fights by just having star power.

Jake Paul suggests a new judging system in boxing
This past weekend in the fight between Josh Taylor and Jack Caterall, one of the worst boxing decisions in a long time was made.
To many people’s eyes, Caterall clearly won the fight and even according toTaylor’s coach, he needed a knockout to win the fight going into the last round
In light of this situation and the growing problem with judging in boxing, Jake Paul took to Twitter to suggest and pitch a new judging system in boxing. Check out the Tweet below to see what Paul had to say.
I think there should be 6 boxing judges for title fights
3 pairs of 2
Each pair has to agree on the same score at the end of the round & if they don’t they briefly debate their reasoning
Almost like a jury system
These poor decisions change the shape of the sport forever.
