Dana White On Conor McGregor’s Arrest: “I’m Sure He Doesn’t Need My Help Or Advice”
Former two-division UFC champion Conor McGregor was arrested in Corsica and is being investigated by the authorities for attempted sexual assault and sexual exhibition.
UFC President Dana White has heard about McGregor’s latest arrest, but he doesn’t think the retired fighter will need any help or his advice on the matter.
“Whether you’re retired or not retired you can get yourself into trouble,” White said after UFC Vegas 10 (via Mike Bohn and John Morgan of MMA Junkie). “I don’t know enough about the Conor situation. I don’t know about it. I know what you’ve read. I’ve read the same things. Conor is retired, I haven’t talked to him. I’m sure he doesn’t need my help or advice, but if he did he can call.”
McGregor has yet to issue his own statement on the arrest, but one of the retired fighter’s representatives did tell TMZ Sports that McGregor was interviewed and released by the authorities, while also denying all charges levied against him.
