Dan Hardy Not Happy With Conor McGregor’s Recent Apology, Calls It A Sh-t Sandwich
UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor recently issued an apology for his antics at last weekend’s Bellator 187 event.
Dan Hardy is a former UFC fighter and current color commentator, but he feels the apology from McGregor was nothing more than a “sh*t sandwich.”
Hardy let his feelings be known through a series of posts on Twitter:
Apologize at the start and finish of the statement, but put your real thoughts/excuse in the middle. That's called a #ShitSandwich — pic.twitter.com/hINrxVlkWz

you really aren't understanding the situation are you?! I'm a fan of Conor, but this behavior is bad for MMA.

and I still stand by the actual fact, that it was reckless and disrespectful. Same as the governing bodies and UFC.

For those who didn’t see the incident at Bellator 187, the UFC Lightweight Champion hopped into the cage after teammate Charlie Ward’s victory. However, in doing so, the Irishman got into a shouting match with referee Marc Goddard and also got physical with Bellator MMA/ABC officials.
The fighter has yet to receive any form of punishment from the UFC, but ABC officials claim he isn’t on UFC 219 due to his cage hopping antics.
