Cyborg Is Getting Info From Spies Inside Camp Jackson-Winklejohn
UFC Women’s Featherweight Champion Cristiane “Cyborg” Justino is preparing to defend the gold against former UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion Holly Holm in the main event of UFC 219.
Cyborg, who is making the first defense of the championship, recently revealed that some of her fellow Brazilians at Camp Jackson-Winklejohn have been sharing information about Holm’s training camp.
“I’ve actually had a few Brazilians who have trained in New Mexico share things with me about her training,” Justino said to Fan Sided.
While Cyborg is defending the gold for the first time, the challenger is looking at her second opportunity to win the belt.
While Cyborg has heard what the spies have said about Holm’s training camp, the women’s featherweight champion isn’t letting it influence her own camp.
“While I appreciate them wanting to see me succeed and continue to represent Brazil as a champion, I haven’t really let what they’ve said influence my training,” says Cybrog.
UFC 219 takes place on Saturday, December 30 from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada with Cyborg and Holly Holm headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, with a post-show podcast to follow.
