Cyborg Believes She’ll Fight Holly Holm After UFC 214

Cristiane “Cyborg” Justino is in the midst of a training camp for her upcoming UFC Women’s Featherweight Title fight against Tonya Evinger at UFC 214.

The Brazilian believes that after UFC 214 is complete, her next opponent is going to be former UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion Holly Holm.

"I think the next fight could be with her (Holly Holm),” Cyborg said on The MMA Hour.

Holm was a part of the very first UFC Women’s Featherweight Title fight, losing to then champion Germaine De Randamie via a controversial decision at UFC 208.

Cyborg believes that if Holm is indeed next for her, then it is going to be a great fight for the fans to check out.

"I think (it’s a) great fight for all the fans,” Cyborg said. “She already fought at 145 (pounds) with (Germaine) de Randamie and people say that she win, she lost. Let's make the fight with me for the belt. She just defeated Bethe Correia, I think she’s the big name for the next fight. She's a great fighter.”

UFC 214 takes place on Saturday, July 29 from the Honda Center in Anaheim, California with Daniel Cormier and Jon Jones headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, with a post-show podcast to follow.
