Curtis Page, MVP’s Father, On Trial For 22 Counts Of Rape & Abuse
Bellator MMA veteran Michael “Venom” Page’s father, legendary kickboxer Curtis Page, is currently on trial in England after multiple accusations of rape and other sexual abuse.
Curtis has been charged with 6 counts of rape, 14 counts of indecent assaults and 2 counts of sex with a minor.
The Great Britain Martial Arts Association and the British Kickboxing Council have both banned him from teaching since he was arrested. The Daily Mail reported that three women came forward to authorities a few years back, claiming he abused them between 1985 and 1995.
“To those people who he didn’t sexually abuse he can do no wrong. The prosecution simply say he has a dual personality,” prosecutor James Thacker said during the court proceedings. “Mr. Page had a liking for young girls and groomed them.”
According to reports, the father of MVP started groping one girl when she was 11 and started a sexual relationship with her when she was 12. Reports also suggest that Curtis started raping one woman after she admitted past abuse to him, other sexual incidents occurred after training sessions at the gyms he taught at.
Another woman stated that she was assaulted her as a minor before beginning a sexual relationship with her when she turned 16.
MVP’s father has denied all accusations and has stated that he had sex with all three women when they were the appropriate age, the trial is on going.
