Conor McGregor Shares Document Revealing UFC 257 PPV Buys
Former two-division UFC champion, Conor McGregor, shared a document via his Twitter account that revealed his UFC 257 rematch with Dustin Poirier brought in 1.5 million pay-per-view buys.
McGregor posted the following tweet of an image that shows that the January 2021 event had a total of 1,504,737 collected reported pay-per-view buys. The massive number is the fourth highest buyrate of the nine pay-per-view events McGregor has headlined for the promotion. It is also just short of the reported 1.8 million buys that Poirier and McGregor’s trilogy bout at UFC 264 in July brought in.

The Irishman is 1-3 in his last four Octagon outings and he’s still recovering from the gruesome leg injury he suffered in the first-round TKO loss to Poirier back at UFC 264. McGregor seems well on his way to a return to competition at some point in 2022, given his recent recovery updates posted on his Instagram story.
