The hypothetical boxing matchup between former UFC double-champ Conor McGregor and YouTube star-turned-boxer Jake Paul now has official betting odds.
According to MyBookie, the UFC megastar should be in for an easy night, but maybe not easy enough, against the brash YouTube phenomenon.
McGregor (22-4 MMA, 0-1 boxing) has opened as a -400 favorite while Paul (2-0 boxing) comes in as a +380 underdog for the potential bout. By comparison, Floyd Mayweather (50-0) opened as a -5000 favorite against Jake’s older brother, Logan Paul (0-2), a +1500 underdog.
Paul, 23, viciously knocked out former NBA-star Nate Robinson during the co-main event of the Mike Tyson vs.Roy Jones Jr. pay-per-view card last month.
McGregor, 32, has only one professional Boxing bout under his belt. The Irishman lost via 10th-round TKO to the now 50-0 Floyd Mayweather in August 2017. It was revealed after the Mayweather bout that McGregor actually won the first three rounds on one of the judges’ scorecards and won the first round on all three official cards.
The potential boxing bout will have to wait as McGregor is currently scheduled to face Dustin Poirier in a five-round lightweight main event of UFC 257 on January 23. The bout will be a rematch after McGregor defeated Poirier via first-round TKO at UFC 178 in 2014.
