Conor McGregor Claims Judges Were Biased During “The Money Fight”

UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor just suffered a tenth round TKO loss to Floyd Mayweather at “The Money Fight.”

Even though the fight didn’t go the distance, the MMA star says that there was a judging bias by the three judges who scored the bout.

“I think that’s very biased,” McGregor said after the event. “I am actually shocked at that. I thought I won first three clearly. The fourth could have gone either way. I thought I snuck out Round 8, then he won 9 and got the finish. I thought I did okay.”

The majority of the judge’s scorecards, which were shown after the fight ended, had McGregor losing the even early rounds.

McGregor knows that if he were to ever return to the boxing ring, then he must work on some things first.

“I really properly worked my ass off,” McGregor added. “I need to work out why there are these dips in the middle of fights. I need to keep going and pushing and striving. I will continue to get better.”

Future plans aren’t known for McGregor at this time because he could either return to the UFC or have another boxing match.
