Conor McGregor reviews his loss to Dustin Poirier
After Conor McGregor’s loss to Dustin Poirier at UFC 257, many questions were raised about McGregor’s preparation for the bout and his fighting style during the fight. McGregor has now come out and reviewed his performance against Poirier and he used some quite bizarre wording when talking about his performance.
In the Instagram post, McGregor blames his performance on his preparation in his camp which while firmly focused on Poirier, had one eye on his bout and preparation against Manny Pacquiao. In the Instagram post, McGregor said “It’s what I get for picking this bout and opponent as a precursor to a boxing match against Pacman. I deserved to get the legs kicked off me going in with this thinking.”
Also in the post, McGregor expresses his excitement at a potential trilogy with Poirier.
