Conor McGregor And Dustin Poirier Agree To Charity Fight On December 12
Conor McGregor and Dustin Poirier want to circumnavigate the UFC en route to a blockbuster charity match.
Former two-division UFC champion McGregor defeated former UFC interim lightweight champion Poirier by first-round TKO at UFC 178 in September 2014. It looks like a rematch may possibly be on the way. McGregor had a back-and-forth with Poirier on Twitter where both men agreed to a charity fight on December 12:
Hey bro! You want to do an MMA charity fight? Zero to do with the ufc. I will donate half a mill towards your charity for it. Sell it on ppv or work a tv deal and we work out other charities that are close to my heart also. I am engaged in many.

Excellent! We shall take it offline and progress the process from here. Good man Dustin! I respect your philanthropic efforts greatly, as well as how you conducted yourself post our first fight. You have my respect!

It is highly unlikely the UFC, which both fighters are contracted to, will play ball.
