Bryan Barberena Taking On Leon Edwards At UFC Fight Night: Netherlands

A welterweight division attraction has been added to the upcoming UFC Fight Night: Netherlands card as Bryan Barberena is in action against Leon Edwards.

Barberena (13-4-0) has won three of his last four in the UFC, those wins came over Sage Northcutt, Warlley Alves and Joe Proctor. Barberena has seen half of his fights inside the Octagon go the distance and he has a record of 1-2-0 in those particular fights. Barberena is also a former Dakota Fighting Championships Welterweight Champion, but relinquished the title upon signing with the UFC.

Edwards (13-3-0) is going to be entering the fight riding a three fight winning streak, having defeated Dominic Waters, Albert Tumenov and Vincente Luque. Edwards has also seen five of his seven fights in the UFC go to the third round, with four of thise fights go to the judge’s scorecards. Edwards holds the record for the fastest knockout in the welterweight division, knocking out Seth Baczynski in just eight seconds at UFC Fight Night 64.

UFC Fight Night: Netherlands takes place on Saturday, September 2 from the Ahoy Rotterdam in Rotterdam, Netherlands with Stefan Struve and Alexander Volkov headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on UFC Fight Pass.
