Bout Moved From UFC 214 To UFC 215

A women’s bantamweight division bout between #6 Sara McMann and #12 Ketlen Vieira has been moved from UFC 214 to UFC 215.

There has been no reason given for the change in the card.

McMann (11-3-0) is going to enter the fight riding a three fight winning streak, defeating the trio of Gina Mazany, Alexis Davis and Jessica Eye. McMann has previously challenged for the UFC Women’s Bantamweight Title, losing to then champion Ronda Rousey at UFC 170. McMann has only suffered three defeats in her professional MMA career, with all those defeats coming to either the current or former UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champions.

Vieira (8-0-0) has already competed twice under the UFC banner, having defeated Kelly Faszholz and Ashlee Evans-Smith. Vieira has also seen her last three fights go the distance and it has been almost two years since the last time she got a finish.

UFC 215 takes place on Saturday, September 9 from Rogers Place in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada with no main event announced at this time. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, with a post-show podcast to follow.
