Body Cam Footage Released In Conor McGregor Cellphone Smashing Arrest
Former two division UFC champion Conor McGregor was arrested last month in Miami, Florida for destroying the cellphone of Ahmed Abdirzak.
There has already been footage released of McGregor smashing the cellphone via security cams, but now bodycam footage from the arrest has been obtained by TMZ and MMA Junkie.

In the footage, a man who may have served as McGregor’s representative had the following exchange with a police officer.
“He is going to cooperate,” the rep told police officers.
“I get it – I just don’t want to be out here waiting forever,” one of the police officers said.
The charges against McGregor have already been reduced to sudden snatching, which is a third-degree felony, and misdemeanor criminal mischief. McGregor has pleaded not guilty to those charges and another court date has yet to be set for the next step in the legal process.
Abdirzak had also filed a lawsuit against McGregor for the altercation, but that suit has already been dropped by Abdirzak.
McGregor and his legal team will most likely be searching for a plea deal in the case because any form of conviction could prevent the fighter from returning to the United States.
