Big Heavyweight Bout Headlining UFC Fight Night 110

A heavyweight division collision will be headlining UFC Fight Night 110 as #6 Derrick Lewis will be clashing with #7 Mark Hunt.

Lewis (18-4-0-1NC) will be entering the fight on a six fight winning streak, with those previous wins coming over Viktor Pesta, Damian Grabowski, Gabriel Gonzaga, Roy Nelson, Shamil Abdurakhimov and Travis Browne. Lewis will be headlining his third straight UFC event and he has a record of 2-0-0 in past UFC main event appearances. Lewis has only suffered two defeats in his UFC tenure, with those losses coming to Matt Mitrione and Shawn Jordan.

Hunt (12-11-1-1NC) has only won two of his last six fights under the UFC banner, with those wins coming over both Frank Mir and Antonio Silva. Hunt has previously challenged for the UFC Interim Heavyweight Title, losing to Fabricio Werdum by second round TKO at UFC 180. Hunt has headlined a total of five UFC events during his time with the promotion, earning a record of 2-2-1 in those bouts.

Hunt has been embroiled in a contract dispute and legal battle with the UFC after dropping a fight to Brock Lesnar, who would fail a set of drug tests.

UFC Fight Night 110 takes place on Saturday, June 10 from the Vector Arena in Auckland, New Zealand with Derrick Lewis and Mark Hunt headlining. Fightful will be providing live coverage of the event.
