Bellator MMA Signs Albert Gonzales
Albert Gonzales was last seen in action on the preliminary card of Bellator 226, suffering a first round TKO loss to Tyson Miller. However, it wasn’t an ordinary loss for Gonzales, as the fighter was defeated via injury after Gonzales suffering a gruesome broken leg in the bout.

Despite the gruesome broken leg and a 1-2-0 record as a professional MMA fighter, a decision was made by Bellator MMA to sign the fighter to a contact.
The promotion announced the news via Twitter:
After his horrific leg injury at Bellator 226, I’m happy to report that Albert @Big_Gonzales is recovering well & that he has just signed an exclusive multi-fight contract with @BellatorMMA to compete when he’s back to full health. pic.twitter.com/kAWmBmIw6B

Gonzales holds the aforementioned 1-2-0 record as a professional MMA fighter, with that lone win coming over Havier Pedroza at Combate Americas 41 in August of 2019.
There is no word yet on when Gonzales is expected to return to action, but more should be known as the broken leg heals up.
