Bellator 212 & UFC On Fox 31 Ratings Are In

The final UFC event on Fox took places last Saturday Night with UFC On Fox 31, which featured Al Iaquinta defeating Kevin Lee by decision in the main event.

This event brought in a total of 1,828,000 viewers according to MMA Fighting, which is down from the overnight viewership of 2,153,000 viewers. The show still was the most watched program on television from 8pm to 10pm on Saturday Night for the 50 and under male demographic, while still rating high for the 18-49 female demographic.

It was the main event that brought in the most viewers, with a total of 2,402,000 checking out Iaquinta versus Lee. The main card also streamed live on Fox Now and Fox Sports Go, bringing in an additional 16,000 viewers. The pre-fight show that aired on Fox Sports 1 brought in 61,000 viewers and the post-fight show on Fox Sports 1 brought in 123,000 viewers.

Bellator 212 took place on Friday Night, with Michael Chandler defeating Brent Primus in the main event to win the lightweight title. The show, which had a five fight main card that aired live on the Paramount Network, brought in an average of 270,000 viewers.

There is still one more UFC event this year in the form of UFC 232, which has a four fight preliminary card airing live on Fox Sports 1, while Bellator MMA is now off until 2019.
