Bellator 200 & UFC Fight Night Liverpool Ratings Are In

This past weekend, MMA fans were awarded with two major shows in the form of Bellator 200 and UFC Fight Night Liverpool.

Bellator 200 kicked off the action this past Friday Night with a tape delayed card featuring Gegard Mousasi defeating Rafael Carvalho to win the Bellator MMA Middleweight Title.

That card, which aired via tape delay on the Paramount Network, brought in a total of 421,000 viewers. Other fights on the card saw Kate Jackson defeat Anastasia Yankova, Michael Page defeat David Rickels, Aaron Chalmers defeat Ash Griffiths and Phil Davis defeat Linton Vassell.

UFC Fight Night Liverpool, a rare Sunday show, would be up next and that main event saw Darren Till pick up a unanimous decision win over Stephen Thompson.

The event aired live on Fox Sports 1, with the six fight main card bringing in a total of 552,000 viewers, which made it the highest rated show of the 18-49 demographic on cable TV. Other fights on the main card saw Neil Magny defeat Craig White, Arnold Allen defeat Mads Burnell, Makwan Amirkhani defeat Jason Knight, Claudio Silva defeat Nordine Taleb and Darren Stewart defeat Eric Spicely.

It was the main event between Till and Thompson that brought in the most viewers, with a total of 811,000 people checking out that encounter. The main card also streamed live on Fox Now and Fox Sports Go, bringing in another 10,224 viewers.

A four fight main card also aired live on Fox Sports 1, with Tom Breese defeating Daniel Kelly in the featured spot and that brought in 308,000 viewers on average. Other fights on the preliminary card saw Lina Lansberg defeat Gina Mazany, Carlo Pedersoli defeat Brad Scott and Gillian Robertson defeat Molly McCann. The prelims also streamed live on Fox Sports Go and Fox Now, bringing in another 5,450.

There was also a post-fight show that aired on Fox Sports 1, bring into an average viewership of 392,000.

While there is no Bellator MMA events until the end of June, up next for the UFC is UFC Fight Night Utica, which takes place this Friday Night.
