Bellator 175 Ratings Are In, Rampage And King Mo Deliver
Bellator 175 is in the book, the main event say King Mo defeat Rampage Jackson by unanimous decision to even their series at one win apiece. The event, which aired live on Spike TV, also featured former bantamweight champion Marcos Galvao losing to Emmanuel Sanchez and Sergei Kharitonov destroying Chase Gormley.
The ratings are in for the event, and it peaked at 1.3 million viewers, while drawing an average viewership of 909,000 viewers.
It was a huge boost in ratings from the last King Mo fight, which came in the main event of Bellator 169 against Satoshi Ishii, which drew an average viewership of 601,000 viewers.
This was the lone MMA event from one of the big three MMA promotions (UFC, Bellator MMA and WSOF). The only other MMA event of any significance that weekend was Cage Warriors 82, which aired live on UFC Fight Pass.
Bellator 176 will be the next event for the promotion, which will air live on Spike TV this Saturday at 4pm EST., it will be headlined by a middleweight title rematch between Rafael Carvalho and Melvin Manhoef. The event will air just before the UFC 210 pay-per-view, which will be headlined by Daniel Cormier and Anthony Johnson.
