Bellator 161 Weigh-In Results Are In; Two Fighters Miss Weight
The weigh-ins for Friday Night’s Bellator 161 card are in and a few of fighters were off the mark when they stepped on the scale.

Although the main card participants were mainly on weight, the women’s feature fight between Veta Arteaga and Anastasia Yankova was changed to a 130 pound catchweight fight.

The preliminary card is where things get a little worse as Kenya Miranda missed weight for her fight by 0.8 pounds and Nick Gonzalez missed weight for his fight by 2.8 pounds.
So, at the Bellator 161 weigh-ins, one bout was changed to a catchweight affair, while a grand total of two fighters (out of 24) missed weight for their bouts. Although nothing has been announced by the athletic commission in Texas, both Miranda and Gonzalez are expected to both be fined at least 20% of their fight purses.
