Backstage Altercation At UFC 207 Weigh-Ins
One of the biggest grudge matches taking place at UFC 207 this Friday Night will be between UFC bantamweight Champion Dominick Cruz and challenger Cody Garbrandt. During the UFC 207 early weigh-ins an altercation took place off stage between Garbrandt and longtime UFC fighter Jeremy Stephens, who trains alongside Cruz at Alliance MMA.
Flo Combat’s Jim Edwards, who was live in the building for weigh-in coverage, caught some of the altercation and posted the video on Twitter:
This is what I could see when the 'brawl' broke out! The first thing you see is security bolting out the door to the hallway pic.twitter.com/IfyBE09r03

The altercation became so bad that it actually disrupted the weigh-in proceedings, because current UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion Amanda Nunes was about to step on the scale when the altercation took place.
Garbarndt and Cruz have been battling on social media, interviews and in just about every way they can interact, even before the fight was made official between the two a few months back. During a media interview Wednesday, Cruz brought up Garbrandt's girlfriend, and Jeremy Stephens ended up jawing back and forth with the title challenger.
The weigh-ins, and UFC 207 for that matter, is taking place in Las Vegas, Nevada and there is no word yet if or when the Nevada Athletic Commission (NAC) may hand out penalties for this altercation.
