Andy Nguyen Posts Footage Of Judge Allegedly Not Watching Andrea Lee/Lauren Murphy Fight At UFC 247
UFC 247 could go down as one of the most controversial shows in UFC history, but not necessarily due to the fighters themselves, but due to the judges assigned by the Texas Department Of Licensing & Regulation (TDLR).
Andrea Lee, who lost a split decision to Lauren Murphy at UFC 247, took to Instagram to ask fans if any of them had evidence of a judge not watching her bout against Murphy, which is also something that both Joe Rogan and Dominick Cruz claimed during the fight itself.
Andy Nguyen, a friend and training partner of Lee, has taken to Twitter to post footage of a judge not watching the Lee vs. Murphy bout and instead was allegedly looking at his cell phone.

A TDLR representative issued a statement about the accusations levied against the judge, but the statement was released before the footage came out.
“Claims have been made that a judge was not paying attention to the fight and was looking down at the floor. One of the advances that UFC has made in the past several years has been to provide small video monitors below the floor level of the octagon for each judge to more closely monitor matches.”
There has been no comment from a TDLR representative, a UFC representative or Lee since the footage emerged.
