Amanda Nunes & Felicia Spencer Want Upcoming Title Bout Moved To Florida
However, due to the coronavirus pandemic, it seems like both the champion and the challenger would like their title bout moved from Brazil to Florida.
Everything began when Spencer went on Twitter and proposed the change to Nunes, which led to Nunes responding on Twitter:
@Amanda_Leoa we both live in Florida, let’s get #UFC250 –to our back yard–. Please don’t leave! —

Sorry. Just seeing this. I’m not going anywhere, girl. I think that’s a great idea. Let’s do this

There has been no comment yet from the UFC as to whether or not they will allow the women’s featherweight title fight to change locations. The UFC has already postponed three events due to the coronavirus, with those cards being UFC Fight Night London, UFC Fight Night Columbus and UFC Fight Night Portland.
UFC 250 takes place on Saturday, May 9 from the Ibirapueroa Gymnasium in Sao Paulo, Brazil with Henry Cejudo and Jose Aldo headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, with a post-show podcast to follow.
