Manager to the stars Ali Abdelaziz takes a jab at Tony Ferguson’s jiu-jitsu skills following on from his loss against Charles Oliveira at UFC 256 — this and much more on Monday’s social media roundup.
Ali Abdelaziz takes a shot at Tony Ferguson
Following on from Tony Ferguson’s unanimous decision loss over fellow UFC lightweight contender Charles Oliveira at UFC 256, Ali Abdelaziz took to Twitter to mock Ferguson’s jiu-jitsu skills in the fight.
Black belt VS White belt
— Ali Abdelaziz (@AliAbdelaziz00) December 13, 2020
Abdelaziz, who is the manager of Ferguson’s long-time arch-rival Khabib Nurmagomedov, poked fun at Tony Ferguson’s performance on the mat against Oliveira. Ferguson is currently on a two-fight losing streak following on from his loss against Oliveira. The two losses he suffered were extremely dominant and were ways in which we have never seen Ferguson dominated before. It is not much of a surprise that Ali Abdelaziz took to Twitter to mock Ferguson as Abdelaziz has a long history of starting rivalries with his client’s rivals.
Bruce Buffer delivers a heartbreaking break up message
On the video message request site Cameo, fighters and other personalities or celebrities are often asked to say and do some quite weird and unorthodox things. This Cameo message from UFC announcer Bruce Buffer may be the funniest, yet most heartbreaking message ever.

On the bright side, what a great way to be dumped!
Tyson Fury issues a warning to Anthony Joshua
Current Lineal and WBC heavyweight boxing champion Tyson Fury has sent a message to his potential next opponent Anthony Joshua.
.@anthonyfjoshua it’s a matter of time….. I’ll spank you like I did @BronzeBomber 2/3 rounds. #YOUBUMSOSER #letsgetiton pic.twitter.com/7m8A8Je0ui
— TYSON FURY (@Tyson_Fury) December 12, 2020
Joshua is coming off a very impressive and emphatic win over fellow heavyweight boxer Kurbrat Pulev. He has been entertaining the idea of an all-British boxing match with Tyson Fury for a while. After Joshua’s emphatic knockout win over Pulev, however, he constantly swerved around questions asking him about who he wants to get in the ring with next. It seemed like the perfect time for Joshua to call out Fury but instead, Joshua went on to give the less entertaining answer of whoever is next is next. It’s fair to say that this was a big opportunity missed to build some hype around the potential next fight for both men.

Would Eddie Bravo’s crazy techniques help Tony Ferguson against Charles Oliveira?
Over the years, Eddie Bravo has given him some bold and characteristically unique instructions from his corner. Would these techniques from Bravo help Ferguson against Oliveira?
All I’m saying is this would have gone completely different with a little sand and an ankle pick. #UFC256 pic.twitter.com/02dLF6wQvY
