Ali Abdelaziz Shoots Down Nurmagomedov vs. McGregor II

Ali Abdelaziz is the manager of UFC Lightweight Champion Khabib Nurmagoemdov, who defeated Conor McGregor by fourth round submission in the main event of UFC 229.

When it comes to a potential rematch between the two, it doesn’t seem like that good of an idea to Abdelaziz.

“He’s talking about a rematch and stuff like that,” Abdelaziz told TMZ. “He quit, how are you going to give this guy a rematch? He’s a bitch.”

McGregor took aim at Abdelaziz during the build up to UFC 229, bringing up the managers estranged son and alleged shady past. The words from McGregor directed at Abdelaziz agitated the manager so much that he was tossed out of the initial UFC 229 press conference.

Abdelaziz’s focus right now is on the UFC Lightweight Champion and whatever brings Nurmagomedov more money.

“Whatever brings Khabib money, I’m going to do,” said Abdelaziz. “I’m not fighting. He’s fighting. Whatever he wants to do, I will try to the best of my ability to get it done.”

It could be awhile before either Nurmagomedov or McGregor step into the Octagon again, as both fighters are awaiting potential punishments from the Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC) for the post-fight brawl at UFC 229.
