Ali Abdelaziz Says Masvidal Should Get Next Title Shot, Gets Ripped By Covington & Askren
Jorge Masvidal competed in the main event of UFC Fight Night London, defeating Darren Till by second round knockout.
Ali Abdelaziz is UFC Welterweight Champion Kamaru Usman’s agent and after the event, would tell Brett Okamoto of ESPN that Masvidal should get the next shot at the 170 pound champ:
Just spoke to UFC welterweight champion Kamaru Usman’s manager Ali Abdelaziz: “We think Jorge Masvidal deserves the next title shot. Not Colby Covington. Colby is a terrible person and doesn’t deserve it. Jorge just knocked out Darren Till like that? He should be next.”

That proclamation would quickly get mocked by various UFC fighter, with Ben Askren taking the first shot:
Lololol his last win before Till was a January 2017. Ali you are a fool, if Marty doesn’t want to fight Colby I would happily oblige. https://t.co/VjRb7EWesy

Former UFC Interim Welterweight Champion Colby Covington would also join in on the fun, saying the following to Okamoto via text message, which the ESPN reporter posted on Twitter:
