Al Iaquinta Faces Paul Felder At UFC 218

A lightweight division attraction is the latest addition to the UFC 218 card as  #11 Al Iaquinta is taking on Paul Felder.

The Detroit Free Press first reported the bout.

Iaquinta (13-3-1) will enter the fight on the strength of a five fight winning streak and hasn’t suffered a defeat in over three years. Iaquinta has only competed one time in the last two years, which was a knockout win over Diego Sanchez at UFC Fight Night 108. Iaquinta also made it to the finals of the UFC Ultimate Fighter 15, but was defeated by Michael Chiesa in that final fight.

Felder (14-3-0) enters the fight on a two fight winning streak, defeating the duo of Alessandro Ricci and Stevie Ray. Felder is also competing on a UFC pay-per-view card for the first time in over two years, with his last appearance at such a card coming at UFC 191 in September 2015. Felder is also a veteran of the Cage Fury Fighting Championships promotion, where he defeated TUF 16 competitor Julian Lane.

UFC 218 takes place on Saturday, December 2 from the Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Michigan with Max Holloway and Frankie Edgar headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, with a post-show podcast to follow.
