Adrien Broner has been on the cusp on stardom, but has an idea how to achieve it.
Broner is set to face Mikey Garcia on July 29, and already has his sights set on the Floyd Mayweather vs. Conor McGregor card. The Cincinnati standout even called out a UFC fighter for the event.
"If I come out untouched, I feel like I should come back and fight on Floyd's undercard against Nate Diaz," Broner said.
Broner has had flashes of brilliance in the ring, but has struggled to keep his nose clean outside the ring. Just last month he spent three days in jail stemming from a 2014 charge.
The 32-year old Diaz hasn't competed since last August at UFC 202, when he lost to Conor McGregor via majority decision. Boxing promoter Leonard Ellerbe claims that the entire undercard of Mayweather vs. McGregor will consist only of boxers.
Broner will meet Mikey Garcia at the Barclays Center on July 29.
