WBA Rankings Update: David Lemieux No Longer Ranked At Middleweight

The latest WBA rankings have been revealed and the middleweight title scene had one notable change.

David Lemieux is no longer ranked No. 1 at middleweight and is now ranked No. 5 at super middleweight. The change is notable as Lemieux had been the mandatory challenger to the WBA “Super” middleweight title ever since he won a title eliminator last September. Lemieux’s next fight has not been announced, nor has there been news of him moving up in weight but he was supposed to fight a middleweight bout last December, but did not show up to the weigh-ins due to him reportedly being hospitalized due to severe dehydration.
