UFC Fight Pass Announces Collaboration With DiBella Entertainment, Will Stream April 10 Card
UFC Fight Pass and DiBella Entertainment have agreed to a deal that would have the streaming service showcase the company’s next show of its “Broadway Boxing” series.
The card that will be streamed on Fight Pass is taking place on April 10 at Times Square’s Sony Hall in New York City with the stream set to start at 8 p.m. ET. The main event will feature WBC USNBC welterweight champion Ivan Golub defending his belt for the first time against Manuel Alejandro Reyes in a 10-round bout.
Lou DiBella, President of DiBella Entertainment, said he is excited to have his company work with UFC in order to highlight some of the talented boxers that he has on his roster on such a major platform.
“DiBella Entertainment is thrilled that this Broadway Boxing will be streamed on UFC Fight Pass, the premier streaming service for MMA and combat sports. UFC Fight Pass’ commitment to offer first class boxing to its subscribers is great news for fight fans. We believe that this is the beginning of an exciting and creative collaboration,” DiBella said in a press release.
Also on that “Broadway Boxng” card is the return of WBA Female super middleweight champion Alicia Napoleon taking on Eva Bajic in a non-title bout. Undefeated junior middleweight prospect Hurshidbek Normatov will also face Calvin Metcalf while Bakhodir Jalolov will fight Donnie Palmer in a six-round heavyweight clash.
On the undercard, unbeaten prospect and former amateur standout Brian Ceballo will face Ricardo Garcia in a six-round bout. In super bantamweight action, Khalid Twaiti will have a four-round fight against Jeno Tonte and lastly, cruiserweight prospect Joe “Mack” Williams will face Jose Mario Flores.
DiBella Entertainment is the latest company to sign a deal with UFC Fight Pass to have boxing be shown on the streaming platform. Several months back, Roy Jones Jr. Boxing Promotions and UFC agreed to a deal to have 72 boxing cards streamed on Fight Pass through 2021.
