Top Rank on ESPN: Stevenson vs. Guevara Weigh-in Results
After what has been a crazy past few weeks for Shakur Stevenson, he is now ready for his first pro bout in his hometown of Newark, New Jersey.
Stevenson will face Alberto Guevara in the main event of the July 13 Top Rank on ESPN card from the Prudential Center where Stevenson will look to secure himself a featherweight world title shot with a win. Originally, Stevenson was going to face Hairon Socarras, but that fight fell through. Then, Stevenson was going to face Franklin Manzanilla but that fight also faltered, opening the door for Guevara to come in and potentially pull off a major upset.
Both men arrived at the weigh-ins and they were able to come in at the featherweight limit of 126 pounds or just under it. As for the rest of the card, Fightful has you covered with the official weights of each fight on the event.
