Tony Bellew Said David Haye Will Either Get Knocked Out Or Quit In Upcoming Fight
Tony Bellew is confident about his chances heading to his battle against David Haye, so much so that Bellew believes he'll make Haye quit in the fight.
In an interview with skysports.com, Bellew said he will pressure Haye hard enough that he will surrender if the fight goes past four rounds.
“If this fight goes past four rounds, he’s going to quit,” Bellew said. “At some stage, it will get too hard and he will quit. He hasn’t got the fight in him anymore. I must stress when I knock out David Haye on March 4 – I am then the best heavyweight in the world outside of them champions."
The intense feud started months ago when Bellew delivered a quick performance back on October 15 in his first defense as the WBC Cruiserweight champion when he scored a TKO victory against BJ Flores in the third round. In a press conference, Bellew and Haye both got physical and there was chaos soon afterwards.
Bellew is moving up to heavyweight for this fight. Haye is former WBA heavyweight champion before he lost his title to Wladimir Klitschko in 2011. The non-title fight will take place at the O2 Arena in London, England and will be broadcasted on Sky Sports.
