Tito Ortiz Calls Out Logan Paul For Triller Fight
Tito Ortiz is looking to move on from his loss to Anderson Silva and is now focused on facing Logan Paul.
The former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion lost to Silva during the co-main event of Triller Fight Club’s “Legends 2” event in Florida. Silva only needed to land one punch in order to take out the slower Silva, who missed key shots right when the bell rang. The fight, which was Ortiz’s first boxing bout, only lasted 81 seconds.
Ortiz ended up posting a reflective message on social media, saying he would be back inside the ring sooner rather than later.
“It is not the critic who counts; not the man who points out how the strong man stumbles, or where the doer of deeds could have done them better. The credit belongs to the man who is actually in the arena, whose face is marred by dust and sweat and blood; who strives valiantly; who errs, who comes short again and again, because there is no effort without error and shortcoming; but who does actually strive to do the deeds; who knows great enthusiasms, the great devotions; who spends himself in a worthy cause; who at the best knows in the end the triumph of high achievement, and who at the worst, if he fails, at least fails while daring greatly, so that his place shall never be with those cold and timid souls who neither know victory nor defeat. I will be back!”
Despite the loss, Ortiz is on a three-fight win streak in MMA, beating pro wrestling star Alberto El Patron via submission in 2019. This was his first loss in any combat sport since 2015.
It did not take long for Ortiz to focus on his next challenge. Ortiz called out Logan Paul for a fight under the Triller umbrella. This comes after Vitor Belfort, who beat Evander Holyfield in the main event, called out Logan’s brother Jake. Logan has recently dipped his toes in the boxing world, competing in legitimate and exhibition bouts. His last exhibition fight was against Floyd Mayweather in June.

Paul lost a professional fight against KSI, but the Mayweather fight did not reach a true result. It should be noted that the Ortiz-Silva fight did not count as a professional contest, according to Dan Rafael. This comes after the Florida State Athletic Commission and Triller promoted it as legitimate.
Paul has not responded to Ortiz as of this moment.
