Tevin Farmer vs. Jono Carroll Set For March 15 Matchroom Boxing Card On DAZN

Matchroom Boxing USA officially announces Tevin Farmer’s next title defense, set to take place in his hometown of Philadelphia.

Farmer will face Jono Carroll for the IBF super featherweight title in the main event of a DAZN card at the Liacouras Center in Philadelphia on March 15. The fight will be Farmer’s third world title defense since winning the belt in August 2018 when he defeated Billy Dib.

Farmer will be fighting in his first main event bout on DAZN after his last two fights were on the undercard of DAZN cards in the United States. The 28-year-old has successfully retained his titles against James Tennyson on October 20 and then against Francisco Fonseca on December 15.

Carroll will be challenging for his first world title after going undefeated in his first 16 pro bouts. Carroll, who previously won the IBF Intercontinental and IBF European super featherweight titles, is coming off a split draw against Guillaume Frenois on December 8.

Also announced for the card is the previously-reported women’s lightweight unification between WBA and IBF champion Katie Taylor and WBO champion Rose Volante. A number of notable boxers, including Gabriel Rosado, Maciej Sulecki and Hank Lundy were also announced for the event. The full card as of this writing can be seen below:
