Terrell Gausha, Rances Barthelemy Announced For December 22 PBC On FOX Undercard
As the December 22 PBC on FOX boxing card from the Barclays Center inches closer, more and more fights are revealed for the untelevised undercard.
PBC announced that former world title challenger Terrell Gausha will be competing on the undercard. Gausha, who challenged for the WBA junior middleweight title in 2017, will be fighting Joey Hernandez in a 10-round bout. This will be Gausha’s first fight since losing to Erislandy Lara in that title fight while Hernandez is on a three-fight win streak with all three of those wins coming from inside the distance.
Former world champion Rances Barthelemy is also scheduled to fight on the undercard, this time being on a 10-round junior welterweight bout. Heavyweight prospect Efe Ajagba is scheduled to fight in a six-round fight as well. This will be Ajagba’s second fight since the infamous “fight” against Curtis Harper back on August 24 in which Harper walked out of the ring as soon as their fight started.
Other fights announced is a 10-round junior middleweight bout between Brandon Quarles and Todd Manuel. Lastly, three additional names announced for the card are former middleweight title challenger Matt Korobov, Gary Antuanne Russell and Gary Antonio Russell.
As for the rest of the card that was already announced, the televised portion will feature Jermall and Jermell Charlo in action in separate bouts while heavyweight contender Dominic Breazeale faces off against Carlos Negron. That tripleheader will be televised live on FOX. In another untelevised bout, Rau’shee Warren and Nordine Oubaali will fight for the vacant WBC bantamweight world title.
