Report: Srisaket Sor Rungvisai Expected To Sign With DAZN
Another world champion could be coming to DAZN soon.
According to Mike Coppinger of Ring Magazine, WBC super flyweight champion Srisaket Sor Rungvisai is expected to sign with the streaming service under a multi-fight deal.

If Sor Rungvisai signs with DAZN, it would continue a string a big signings for the streaming service. DAZN and Matchroom Boxing recently signed IBF super bantamweight champion TJ Doheny, WBA light heavyweight champion Dmitry Bivol and IBF middleweight champion Daniel Jacobs to promotional deals and all have a title fight scheduled.
Sor Rungvisai would not be the only 115-pound champion that would be involved with DAZN. WBA champion Kal Yafai is signed to Matchroom Boxing and DAZN has streamed his last fight against Israel Gonzalez.
The 32-year-old Sor Rungvisai, a two-time WBC champion, made two successful title defenses and won all three of his fights in 2018. Sor Rungvisai last fought in October in Thailand, defeating Iran Diaz by a wide margin on the scorecards. Sor Rungvisai’s first title defense took place in February on HBO when he defeated Juan Francisco Estrada by majority decision. Since that title bout, the WBC sought to have the two boxers fight once more, naming Estrada the mandatory challenger, but the rematch has yet to be made.
