Oleksandr Gvozdyk vs. Doudou Ngumbu Weigh-In Results
Both Oleksandr Gvozdyk and Doudou Ngumbu have successfully made weight for their light heavyweight title bout tomorrow.
The two boxers came in under a pound below the 175-pound limit and the two are set to fight for the WBC title in the main event of an ESPN-televised card from Philadelphia. Also on the card are a number of big fights in the welterweight division.
The first one is a title eliminator for the IBF title between Kudratillo Abdukakhorov and Keita Obara as both men made weight for the fight. The winner becomes the mandatory challenger to Errol Spence Jr.’s world title.
The other welterweight bout on the card is one between Egidijus Kavaliauskas and Ray Robinson. While it is not a title eliminator per say, a win for Kavaliauskas could potentially guarantee him a shot at Terence Crawford’s WBO title as Kavaliauskas is the No. 1 ranked fighter by the WBO at 147 pounds.
