Mike Tyson Open To Third Fight With Evander Holyfield

Mike Tyson returns to the ring later this month against Roy Jones Jr., but another opponent Tyson may have his eye on is Evander Holyfield.

The boxing great is open to a third meeting with Holyfield, if that is something the fans want as well.

“That’s always something that we can do if the people want it, if it’s pragmatic enough, I’d love to do it,” Tyson said to Jim Gray (via MMA Fighting).

Holyfield already holds two wins over Tyson, but the second fight is remembered most after Tyson bit a piece of Holyfield’s ear off. Tyson says he is also willing to box some of this generations best heavyweights and go for heavyweight gold.

“Man, that would be a novelty,” Tyson said. “Me using my skills, matching my skills now against the best heavyweights in the world, that would be mind-boggling.”
