Michael McKinson To Face Evgeny Pavko In July On MTK Global Card On ESPN+
MTK Global has added another show that will be streamed on ESPN+ in the United States this summer.
Unbeaten rising contender Michael McKinson will face Evgeny Pavko in a WBO European welterweight title bout. The fight will take place at the Brentwood Centre on July 20.
McKinson has won all 16 of his pro bouts since making his debut back in 2014. Having previously won the WBC Youth and WBC International Silver titles, McKinson is coming off a dominant unanimous decision over Ryan Kelly back in March on an MTK card that was also at the Brentwood Centre.
Pavko has won three of his last five bouts dating back to 2017. A former WBC International Silver title challenger, Pavko is coming off a stoppage win over Fedor Vinogradov last December.
Also on the card are a number of prospects and contenders in title bouts. Chantelle Cameron and Anisha Basheel will square off in the ring in a WBC Silver Female lightweight title fight in what is Cameron’s first defense of the belt. Cameron, who has held the IBO title in the past, has won all 10 of her fights in the paid ranks with seven of those wins coming by knockout.
The other title bout taking place on the card is a BBBofC Southern Area welterweight bout between unbeaten Shaquille Day and Louis Adolphe. Unbeaten prospect Neslan Machado will also take on Alejandro Mejia in a 10-round bout.
