Manny Pacquiao: Everything Has Been Resolved Between Me And Top Rank

Manny Pacquiao‘s recent issues with Top Rank Boxing have been resolved.

Days after a post from Pacquiao’s Instagram account threatened Top Rank to move forward with legal action after not alleging that the company had yet to pay the current WBA “regular” welterweight champion his U.S. rights fees for his last fight.

Below is the post from Pacquiao’s Instagram:

“My post from the other day was a result of miscommunication between my Team and Top Rank. Everything has been clarified. I would like to thank Bob and Top Rank for helping guide my career and for the many great years of working together. We have accomplished so many amazing things together.”

The fight in question was the Filipino superstar’s title win over Lucas Matthysse back in July. The event took place in Malaysia and was shown in the United States on the ESPN+ streaming service after Pacquiao and his company, MP Promotions, missed a deadline to have the fight be broadcast as an ESPN pay-per-view in the United States.

After the fight, Pacquiao confirmed on Twitter that he is no longer exclusive to Top Rank Boxing and is a promotional free agent. The eight-division champion does not have his next fight lined up but he has been talking with Matchroom Boxing promoter Eddie Hearn over a possible clash with either Kell Brook or Amir Khan.
