Jennifer Ravalo, Reporter Who Was Kissed By Kubrat Pulev, Calls For Boxer’s License To Be Suspended
Jennifer Ravalo, a reporter who was kissed without consent by heavyweight contender Kubrat Pulev after his latest win against Bogdan Dinu on March 23, has hired a lawyer after claiming she was also groped by Pulev.
After Pulev defeated Dinu in the main event of an ESPN-televised card from Costa Mesa, California, he was interviewed by Ravalo, and the boxer surprised Ravalo by kissing her at the end of the interview. Pulev then stepped aside as Ravalo was befuddled by Pulev’s allegedly unwarranted actions.
On March 28, Ravalo hired lawyer Gloria Allred and also urged the California State Athletic Commission to conduct an investigation into the matter. In a letter to the commission, Ravalo said she wants Pulev’s boxing license to be suspended.
“We hereby request that the commission conduct an immediate investigation into the serious allegations. We request that Mr. Pulov’s boxing license be suspended.”
Ravalo was asked on Twitter if she had anything to add in regards to the incident and promptly responded by tweeting that it was a “Lil embarrasing. Strange.” Ravalo also alleged that Pulev grabbed both of her buttocks by surprise and left without saying anything else to her. Ravalo stated in a video which can be seen above that she felt “uncomfortable and frustrated” that Pulev would treat her that way. Ravalo added that Pulev later asked her to remove the kiss from the interview that was posted online, but Ravalo wanted to hold Pulev accountable for his actions.

In the days after the kiss, the video surfaced online and quickly went viral and Pulev released a statement on Twitter downplaying the incident. Pulev said Ravalo is a friend of his and that the two shared a laugh afterwards and that she joined him in his post-fight celebration.
