IBF Rankings Update May 2019: Middleweights See Plenty Of Change

After a month loaded with big fights, the IBF has officially released its new set of rankings.

With multiple IBF world titles changing hands and even more title fights taking place in the past few weeks, a number of divisions got a major overhaul, especially in the super middleweight, middleweight and welterweight rankings. Heavyweight:

– Otto Wallin drops from No. 5 to No. 10

Cruiserweight:

– No major changes

Light Heavyweight:

– Radivoje Kalajdzic (formerly No. 13) drops out of the rankings

– Leon Bunn enters the rankings at No. 14

Super Middleweight:

– Bilal Akkawy (former No. 10) drops out of the rankings

– John Ryder (formerly No. 12) drops out of the rankings

– Arthur Abraham (formerly No. 15) drops out of the rankings

– Jesse Hart enters the rankings at No. 10

– Leon Bauer enters the rankings at No. 14

– Erik Bazinyan enters the rankings at No. 15

Middleweight:

– Sergiy Derevyanchenko rises from No. 3 to No. 1

– Gennadiy Golovkin rises from No. 11 to No. 3

– Jack Culcay drops from No. 2 to No. 9

– David Lemieux (formerly No. 5) drops out of the rankings

– Ryota Murata (formerly No. 6) drops out of the rankings

– Gerome Quigley (formerly No. 15) drops out of the rankings

– Daniel Jacobs enters the rankings at No. 5

– Liam Williams enters the rankings at No. 14

– Jason Quigley enters the rankings at No. 15

Junior Middleweight:

– No major changes

Welterweight:

– Sergey Lipinets rises from No. 11 to No. 7

– Thulani Mbenge enters the rankings at No. 15
