Freeda Foreman, Daughter Of Heavyweight Legend, Dies; Autopsy Reveals Death By Suicide
Freeda George Foreman, daughter of former world heavyweight champion George Foreman, died this past weekend. She was 42 years old.
According to reports, Freeda was found unresponsive in her home located in Houston. According to The Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences’ official website, her cause of death was listed to be suicide from “asphyxia by hanging.”
Like her father, Freeda spent time as a pro boxer, competing from 2000 to 2001 when she compiled a 5-1 record. Freeda had expressed her desire to box but George wanted her to get a college degree beforehand. George posted a tweet that an be seen below which contained a picture of the two of them embracing each other.

George was one of the premier heavyweights of the 20th century, winning an Olympic gold medal as an amateur and then the WBA, WBC, IBF and lineal world titles.
