Buglioni has earned a number of accolades throughout his pro career, including winning the WBO European super middleweight title in just his 11th pro fight. He followed it up with an interim WBA International super middleweight title and then challenged for the WBA world title in 2015. Buglioni lost a decision to Fedor Chudinov in the Brit’s lone world title challenge.
The 29-year-old would bounce back and win the BBBofC British light heavyweight title and made a pair of successful title defenses. Unfortunately for Buglioni, he has lost two of his last three fights, including a fight against Fenlong Meng on a Matchroom Boxing card in Monaco on November 24. The fight was for the IBF Intercontinental light heavyweight title with the winner moving one step closer to potentially challenge for Artur Beterbiev’s world title.
In the end, Buglioni retired with a 22-4-1 record with 16 KO wins after making his pro debut in 2011. As an amateur, Buglioni won a silver medal at the Commonwealth Federations Tournament in Delhi in 2010 and had a 60-10 record.
