Fight-size Boxing Update: Tyson Fury, Gavin McDonnell, Jeyvier Cintron’s Next Fight Announced

Your fight-size boxing update:

Tyson Fury has made news for a couple of reasons:

The first one is that the WBC revealed that Fury never signed up for the WBC’s Clean Boxing Program which is a requirement for fighters ranked in the top 15 and eligible to fight for world titles. WBC President Mauricio Sulaiman would then state on Twitter on October 8 that Fury has now sent the organization the forms for signing up for the CBP.

The second one being that Fury posted a tweet revealing an email sent to him by Matchroom Boxing promoter Eddie Hearn months ago about Fury having his next three fights being promoted by Hearn.

– Gavin McDonnell, who was stopped in the 10th round of his WBA super bantamweight title fight against Daniel Roman, posted a statement on Twitter the day after the fight thanking his fans and his team for helping him throughout his career.

– Two-time Olympian Jeyvier Cintron, ranked No. 9 by the WBO will defend his WBO Latino super flyweight title against Marvin Solano in a fight to be held on October 31, during the WBO Convention in Panama.

– BT Sport posted the full episode of Face Off which features Fury and WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder, which can be seen in the video above. Fury will face Wilder for the WBC title on December 1 on a Showtime pay-per-view event.
