– In addition to Tyson Fury announcing that he has signed a multi-year deal with Top Rank Boxing to allow ESPN to be the British star’s U.S. broadcast home, the former unified champion has also signed a new multi-year deal with BT Sport to allow them to televise Fury’s fights in the United Kingdom.
– WBC Female light flyweight champion Yesenia Gomez successfully defended her title against Erika Hawana over the weekend at the Oasis Arena in Cancun. Gomez defeated Hasawa by majority decision (97-93, 97-93, 95-95) in her first world title defense since winning the belt in September 2018.
– There was supposed to be a fight between Tasuku Nakagawa and Masashi Noguchi set for the February 18 boxing card at Korakuen Hall in Japan, but the fight was canceled as Noguchi was unable to safely make weight, showing symptoms of dehydration which forced the fight to be called off.
– Former featherweight title challenger Joseph Diaz Jr. went to Twitter to call out WBA featherweight champion Leo Santa Cruz after his latest title defense on February 16. With Santa Cruz aiming to eventually move up to super featherweight, Diaz said he can beat Santa Cruz at either weight class.

– Undefeated prospect Eduardo Hernandez will make his debut in the United States on March 30 after Promociones del Pueblo and Golden Boy Promotions reach a co-promotional agreement. Hernandez will fight on the undercard of the Golden Boy Promotions card streamed on DAZN with the main event bout being Angel Acosta vs. Gangian Lopez for the WBO light flyweight title, but the card itself has yet to be formally announced.
