– In the video at the top of the page, Eddie Hearn holds a press conference to formally announce the rematch between Andy Ruiz Jr. and Anthony Joshua for the unified heavyweight titles.
– In his first fight since May 2017, former middleweight world champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. knocked out Evert Bravo with a body shot in the first round in their fight that took place in Mexico.
– MTK Global have announced the following boxers that will compete in their respective “Golden Contract” tournaments starting later this year and ending next year:

– Tony Tolj and Dragon Fire boxing have announced they have signed 22-year-old Chilean amateur standout Andres Campos. Campos currently has a 5-0 record as a pro boxer.
– After winning his last fight on DAZN this past weekend, Hector Tanajara Jr. called out unbeaten prospect Ryan Garcia to a fight.
– According to Mike Coppinger, Wesley Snipes is set to produce a biopic on the late Hector “Macho” Camacho through his Maandi House Studios. The film is in development and is targeted for a 2021 theatrical release. Longtime boxing manager Peter Kahn is also a producer on the project.
– Former WBO minimumweight champion Tatsuya Fukuhara made his retirement official in a special ceremony at the Shiroyama Skydome in Kumamoto, Japan. The ceremony saw him sparring 3 rounds with former foe Naoya Haruguchi before taking the microphone and speaking to the fans.
